Hi, I’m Nick.

I was born in East Yorkshire and spent most of my life there; these days I live in Lancashire. My photography journey started at Hull College, and I went on to study lens-based media at Lincoln University. That’s where I learnt the craft of making an image on film — how to process it and produce prints. It helped me develop my creative eye.

I then worked as an apprentice at a studio before making the leap to professional photographer. I spent years in the commercial industry shooting interiors and furniture for large companies — in factories, holiday homes, on location and in the studio — learning how to work with clients and produce images and video that matched their ideas and needs.

I set up 246 Photography because I wanted to create something new of my own, and it’s still growing, with clients all over the UK. I’m blessed with a great family and career. I always have fun with the work, and enjoy collaborating with like-minded people.
